  • FAQ 01: Why do Soul Sprout products contain 100% organic ingredients?

Eating organic foods is the only way to avoid the chemical cocktails that can legally be used in growing non-certified organic foods. We source only organic ingredients, because we like our food poison-free. We also like to support farms that treat animals humanely, and use agricultural practices that promote the earth’s health and sustainability.

  • FAQ 02: What are the health benefits of sprouting?

Sprouting raw seeds, nuts and grains increases their enzyme activity, and that makes it easier for your body to absorb the nutrition they have to offer. Researchers have also credited sprouted foods with having higher levels of vitamins and minerals than their non-sprouted counterparts.

  • FAQ 03: What is phytic acid and why don’t I want it in my food?

Phytic acid is an “anti-nutrient” many dietary experts encourage people to avoid, because it reduces the bio-availability of certain minerals in grains, nuts, legumes and seeds. Sprouting decreases its presence. This article by Weston Price details what phytic acid does to our bodies and what we can do to neutralize it. • FAQ 04: Do you offer a discount for bulk orders?

We are happy to offer you free shipping on orders over $120, within the United States.

  • FAQ 05: Are Soul Sprout products available by the case?

Of course. We ship Soul Sprout products in any quantity, including full cases.

  • FAQ 06: Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Absolutely. Our box is 100% recyclable, and made from 100% recycled/35% post-consumer waste material, and our bags and bar wrappers are #5 recyclable.

  • FAQ 07: What do you mean by “raw”?

Cooking foods can kill nutrients that you need to keep your body healthy. Our raw snacks are living foods that are germinated, dehydrated, and never heated beyond 118ºF, to keep their nutrition-maximizing enzymes from being damaged.

  • FAQ 08: What is a gluten-free diet?

Some people have trouble tolerating gluten—a protein found in wheat (including kamut and spelt), barley, rye, malts and triticale. Gluten-free foods provide alternatives for people who want to avoid the discomfort they experience when they eat gluten.

  • FAQ 09: Are all Soul Sprout Products gluten free?

Yes. Not only that, our products are 100% organic, raw, vegan, free of wheat, dairy, soy, and refined sugars. Whether you have dietary restrictions, a compromised immune system, or just a desire to avoid unnecessary risks, you can feel confident that every bite of every Soul Sprout product supports your highest level of health and happiness.

  • FAQ 10: Where can I find Soul Sprout in stores?

Soul Sprout is carried at Whole Foods, Vitamin Cottage, Sprouts, and other natural grocers around the country.

Under normal circumstances, we ship your order by FedEx the day you place it, and you’ll have it within 3 or 4 days.

However, we do make Soul Sprout products with care, in small batches, so on rare occasion, we may need to finish up a batch before we can ship your order out. We hope you understand.
